Kristi Neilson, born in Hartford, CT in 1992 was raised in rural, Suffield CT.
After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014 with a BFA in Fine Art Photography, she made her way to Los Angeles.
In the Spring of 2025, Kristi self published her first photography book. “I miss that blue coming through the door” which explores rural life in America, loss of loved ones, time and exploring her place amongst men.
